Your house painted in the Watercolor style
Transparent washes, soft blooms and bare white paper for the light — a watercolor painting of your photo, printed on canvas, from $69.

What Watercolor does with a house. The house is drawn lightly and washed in clear color: siding, brick and roof each get one wash and a shadow, the sky and the trees stay loose, and the paper is left white where the sun hits. It is the traditional look for a house portrait, and it suits a home with a porch, a garden or good trees.
The photo. Morning or late afternoon with the sun behind you, straight-on or from a front corner, no cars in the drive. Include a little sky and a little ground.
The size. 24×36 turned on its side (36×24) over a sideboard or a bed; 36×48 for a tall wall or a stairwell.
