Short version: your photo makes your painting and nothing else, and we delete the original 30 days after it ships.
We collect three things: what you give us (email address, photo, shipping address), what Shopify collects on our behalf at checkout (we never see your card number), and the campaign parameters and an anonymous visitor id that let us tell which ad an order came from.
Your photo is used to make your artwork. It is never used to train a model, never sold, and never used for another customer's piece. Originals and intermediate files are deleted 30 days after delivery. We keep the finished print file for 12 months so we can reprint if something goes wrong; ask and we'll delete that too.
To render your painting we send the photo to our AI rendering providers. The printer only receives the print file and an order number — not your original photo, your name, or your address.
California residents can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold, and we will not treat you differently for asking. Write to hello@afrodie.com.
On biometrics: we do not run face recognition and do not build or store faceprints. Face position is used only to decide where to crop, and is not retained.
