How it's made
The painting is composed digitally from your photo — the likeness kept, the background simplified, the light placed the way a portrait painter would place it — and then printed in two passes. The first pass lays down colour. The second lays transparent and white ink in layers that follow the brushstrokes, thickest in the highlights where a painter loads the brush. The result is cured under UV light, so it's hard the moment it leaves the printer, then stretched on 1.5-inch solid wood bars or floated in a frame.

Is a textured canvas print the same as a hand-painted oil painting?
No. A hand-painted oil is paint applied by a person with a brush. Ours is a digitally painted image printed with layered UV ink that physically rises off the canvas where the brushstrokes are. From arm's length it reads as paint and catches the light like paint; up close you can feel the ridges. It costs a fraction of a commissioned oil, takes days instead of months, and every copy is identical to the proof you approved.
How is it different from a normal canvas print?
A normal canvas print is a flat photograph of a painting: the brushstrokes are pictured, not present. Raised-texture printing builds the strokes up in layers of ink, so the surface has real relief. That relief is what makes the piece change with the light in a room, which flat prints never do.
Does it fade or crack?
UV-cured pigment ink is rated for decades of indoor display without noticeable fading. The raised layers are cured hard and bonded to the canvas; they don't crack or flake with normal handling. Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from bathrooms, as you would any canvas.
How do I clean it?
